During these few days of hiking, you will discover the happy Valley Ait Bougmez and climb Mgoun4068 m, second Summit in the High Atlas of Morocco. you will meet the semi nomadic Berbers who establish their summer hut to graze their flock, These meetings allow you to discover their daily life.

Itinerary :

Day 1 : Marrakech :

Arrival in Marrakech .

Day 2 : Marrakech - Ait Bougmez Valley (1800 m) :

Transfer to Ait Bougmez by minibus or 4 x 4 or Taxi depends on how many persons,we have a break for lunch in a restaurant in Azilal town,then we continue to Ait Bougmez arrival at the Gîte and meet our team muleteers and cooker, overnight in Gîte in Timit village, 5 hours drive.

Day 3 : Timit - Agouti (1800 m)-Arous (1900 m)- Azib N Ikkis (2200 m) :

We start our trek walking between gardens, we accross the valley to the south towards the Valley of Arous to arrive the pasturs of Azib N Ikiss, overnight in the Comp, 5 hours walking.

Day 4 : Azib N Ikiss (2200 m) - Tizi-n-Oumskiyd Pass (2900 m) - Aghouri Pass (3400) – Tarkeddite Plateau (2900 m) :

We Continue to climb to Tizi-n-Oumskiyd Pass then Aghouri Pass, from this Pass good views to Mgoun Massif and to the beautiful plateau of Tarkeddite, after we descend to the vast Plateau summer pasture of semi-nomadic, comp in the plateau, overnight in tents, 6 hours walking.

Day 5 : Tarkeddite (2900m) - Mgoun Summit(4088 m) -Aflafal Source (2330 m) :

We start to Climb the Summit of Mgoun (4088 m)early in the morning, Unique experience within a beautiful mountain, Panoramic view of the High Atlas southwest and Northeast, cities in North and South of the Atlas and desert. We descend to the Oulilimt Valley, our comp near the source of Aflafal, 8 hours walking (up and down) .

Day 6 : Aflafal Source(2330 m) - Ait Bougmez Valley (1800 m): :

We leave the Source of Aflafal, we climb to a high pass of the Atlas Tizi-n - Aït Imi 2900 m, on the pass we enjoy good views in all directions before walking down to the Valley, overnight in Gîte in Timit village, 6 hours of walking.

Day 7 : Aït Bougmez Valley – Marrakech :

After breakfast transfer to Marrakech, overnight in the hotel.

Day 8 : Marrakech :

Flight back home
