Overview

Departing from Marrakech, this 2-day private tour takes you to Agadir on the Atlantic coast and returns via a scenic route. You’ll visit coastal towns, local markets, historic sites, enjoy artisanal culture, relax on the beach, and experience Morocco off the beaten path.

Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech → Agadir

• Early in the morning (usually about 9:00 AM), you will be picked up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech.
• Travel across the foothills of the Atlas Mountains toward the Atlantic coast. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes: from mountain valleys to semi-arid plains.
• Arrival into Agadir: begin with the Fishing Port, an active, colorful area showing daily life by the sea.
• Visit Kasbah Agadir Oufella (the old fortress above the city), which offers panoramic views over Agadir bay, the modern city, and the ocean.
• Explore El Had Souk (municipal market), a large local market bustling with vendors of fruit, spices, local crafts, textiles, etc. A good chance to feel the pulse of local commerce.
• In the afternoon, some free time for strolling in the medina (artisan workshops, small shops) or relaxing.
• Overnight stay in Agadir (hotel or riad, depending on preference).

Day 2: Agadir → Marrakech

• Morning after breakfast: further exploration of Agadir’s highlights. Optionally visit artisan studios or the newer medina if not seen the previous day.
• Head to the beach for some relaxation: swim, sunbathe, enjoy the Atlantic breeze.
• Lunch (not always included). Free time after lunch to shop, walk by the seaside promenade, or just relax.
• In the late afternoon, depart Agadir and return to Marrakech. Drop-off at your hotel/riad.
