Tips & Suggestions

• Best time of year: Spring and autumn have pleasant temperatures. Summer can be very hot through the pass, winter may bring snow in the High Atlas (sometimes Tizi n’Tichka may be difficult).
• What to bring: Layers (mornings/evenings are cooler especially in the mountains), sun protection, water, hat, camera.
• Optional extras: Stay in a traditional kasbah (for more authenticity), add a hike near Aït Benhaddou or in the mountains, or include lunch with a Berber family.
